About the Role
As a People Services Specialist at Southern Water, you will be the first point of contact for employees at all levels, providing HR advice and support in line with organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements, with a focus on Employee Relations cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a dedicated HR advisory service in relation to a range of employment and employee relations matters as first point of contact about established HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Cover areas such as Employment law, Employee Relations, TUPE, Organisational Design, and more.
- Manage a high volume of case loads and a wide range of case types.
- Travel across the Southern Water region to support cases, requiring a full UK driving licence and own car.
Requirements
- CIPD Qualified with extensive knowledge of HR policies and processes.
- Ability to work within set parameters and understand governance and compliance policies, including Data Protection principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and planning skills.
- Ability to build authentic trust-based relationships at all levels of business.
