About the Role

The Tabernacle W11 Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to join our team at a vibrant Arts Venue in Notting Hill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our bar and restaurant operations, as well as maintaining the overall safety and security of the venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar and restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Conduct regular fire safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure the venue meets all licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage incidents and emergencies, and take a lead role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Events Manager to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor staff attendance and report any issues to the General Manager.
  • Support the team in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of presentation and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in a similar role, with a focus on restaurant and bar operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
What We Offer
