Assistant Director of Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Finance to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial management support to our Clinical Service Units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial leadership and guidance to our Clinical Service Units, ensuring they have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with the Trust's strategic objectives.
- Lead the finance team in providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including commissioners, to ensure that our financial plans and budgets meet their requirements.
- Ensure that our financial systems and processes are robust and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
- Extensive experience in financial management, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of NHS finances and regulatory requirements.
