About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Nursing Assistant to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses in delivering patient care, following Trust guidelines and protocols.
  • Support patients with personal care needs, including mobilizing, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating, and drinking.
  • Record patient observations and changes to patient conditions, as delegated by Registered Nurses.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.

Requirements
  • National Care Certificate or willingness to undertake and complete within 12 weeks of starting.
  • Level 2 Apprenticeship in healthcare or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English or equivalent education.
