We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality facilities management services across our depot.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Building Services Manager in the delivery of hard and soft FM services, including supervision of maintenance operatives and external contractors.
- Manage the in-house repairs service, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control expenditure on building materials and FM consumables, ensuring that costs are minimized and value for money is achieved.
- Assist with major FM projects, including the coordination of external contractors and the management of resources.
- Proven experience in facilities management, with a strong background in maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external contractors.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
