R&D Intellectual Property Manager

Nexperia, a leading global semiconductor company, is seeking an experienced R&D Intellectual Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our R&D management team, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the creation of new intellectual property and pursuing research activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and chair the department Invention Disclosure Meeting to ensure the quality of invention submissions.
- Support inventors in improving the quality of invention disclosures through presentation and content enhancements.
- Represent the business at the Patent Review Committee, championing departmental proposals and investigating competitor IP positions.
- Lead the review committee for conference paper submissions and drive research activities to support long-term process and product roadmaps.
- Chair the Research Review Board and propose new projects to support business objectives.
- Deep knowledge of Power MOSFET device physics, processing, and assembly.
- Natural strong attention to detail and inquisitive mind.
- Ability to communicate technical details to a general audience.
- Experience in dealing with intellectual property, such as writing patent proposals and scrutinizing drafts.
- Experience in Power MOSFET applications, reliability, and failure analysis.
- Ability to successfully chair meetings of multi-cultural, subject-matter experts.
