Job Title: R&D Tax ManagerWe are seeking an experienced R&D Tax Manager to join our team. As an R&D Tax Manager, you will be responsible for preparing government incentive claims, drafting technical reports, and coordinating with clients, colleagues, and HMRC to ensure claims are optimised.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit government incentive claims.
- Draft detailed technical reports to support R&D projects.
- Coordinate with clients, colleagues, and HMRC to ensure claims are optimised.
- Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee project delivery.
- Respond to HMRC queries and liaise with them on behalf of clients.
- Offer advice on tax technical points to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise junior team members and update senior stakeholders on project progress.
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK's R&D tax.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple live projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills, serving as the main point of contact for managed projects.
- Coaching and delegation abilities, supporting the growth of technical expertise and soft skills in the team.
- Strong written skills for report writing, technical memo drafting, and concise advice notes.
- Analytical skills for numerical analysis of client data.
