Job Title: Mechanical Site Services Engineer

Zenith People is working with our client to fill an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Site Services Engineer.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the site energy centre and primary services, including compressed air, chilled water, and DI water plant, gas-fired steam boiler, and LTHW plant. They will also manage incoming utilities, perform day-to-day upkeep and performance management of mechanical services, and develop and implement safe working procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain site energy centre and primary services, including compressed air, chilled water, and DI water plant, gas-fired steam boiler, and LTHW plant.
  • Manage incoming utilities, including water, natural gas, and drainage services.
  • Perform day-to-day upkeep and performance management of mechanical services, including development and implementation of full lifecycle asset maintenance strategies and schedules.
  • Develop and implement safe working procedures in accordance with recognised industry standards and approved codes of practice, including FMEA and risk assessment.
  • Coordinate, control, and safely manage external contractors, including contract management.
  • Manage major breakdown incidents, restoration, and corrective maintenance.
  • Prepare and control annual Capex and Opex budgets.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Involved in new plant development activity, including preparation of mechanical services design specifications, implementation and ongoing management of Building and Energy Management Systems, and project management and coordination.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Management, or equivalent relevant subject.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant building services or mechanical engineering role.
  • Demonstrable experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong PC skills, including MS applications, MS Project, and AutoCad/Revit or similar applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
