About the Role

We are seeking an outstanding educator and coach to lead our girls' sports programme at Bredon School in Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sports strategy that promotes participation, excellence, and inclusivity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of coaching and leading teams, with a passion for inspiring young people to achieve their full potential. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the girls' sports programme
  • Co-ordinate and manage sports events and competitions
  • Mentor and support coaches and staff in delivering high-quality sports provision
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Possess a relevant qualification in sport or education (e.g. PGCE, Level 3 Coaching Certificate)
  • Hold a valid first aid certificate
  • Demonstrate experience of working with children and young people in a sporting context
  • Be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends

Salary

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
