Job Responsibilities

As a Band 6 Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Working autonomously to manage complex MSK cases and provide specialist clinical skills
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and promoting clinical excellence
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and enhance service development
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the maintenance of clinical standards and audit
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree/graduate diploma in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Comprehensive post-registration experience in musculoskeletal services, with evidence of clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to advanced clinical and professional development, including teaching and education of colleagues and the public
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within different teams and remain calm under pressure
  • Competent IT skills, including word processing, email, internet, and Excel
