Funeral Service Manager

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Funeral Director to join our team at Frederick W. Paine Funeral Directors in Chessington, Raynes Park & Esher. As a Funeral Director, you will be the face of Dignity Funerals, representing our esteemed portfolio of brands and funeral homes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse array of responsibilities, including branch administration, funeral arrangements, care of the deceased, and community outreach.
- Operate on the on-call rota, taking first calls and mobilising ambulance teams to bring the deceased into our care.
- Lead on funerals conducted by the Brand, including route planning, coordinating Funeral Operatives, and fulfilling duties such as bearing or driving the hearse and limousine.
- Work closely with clients to arrange funerals, planning every personalised detail and offering the full range of services and products that address their needs.
- Engage with the local community by participating in events hosted by our Brand, such as MacMillan Coffee Mornings and Remembrance Day Services.
- Prior supervisory/team leader experience, with the ability to motivate others effectively.
- A Full UK Manual Driving License.
- Exceptional communication and administrative abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Emotional intelligence and a genuine dedication to delivering empathetic customer care in sensitive situations.
- Proactive support for colleagues, offering confident guidance and fostering a culture of shared success.
- Reliability, professionalism, and personal presentation, consistently striving for excellence in individual performance and team outcomes.
- An annual salary of £31,392.27.
