Job Title: Back of House Delivery Assistant

At JD Group, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Back of House Delivery Assistant. This role is responsible for receiving, unpacking, processing, organizing, labeling, and storing merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accept and book in store deliveries using delivery systems in place.
  • Handle deliveries on a daily basis, maintaining order and tidiness, avoiding damage and preventing stock loss.
  • Contribute to the profitability of the retail operation by receiving, handling, and managing the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organized manner.
  • Ensure compliance of stockroom procedures in handling stock and make sure all product is priced correctly.
  • Ensure that products are accessible, constantly available, and properly distributed.
  • Assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor and replenish stock levels when needed, making sure the full-size range is on the shop floor where possible.
  • Deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
  • Always represent JD Sports in the most professional manner.
