Job Title: Multi-Skilled Facilities Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing company based in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all plant and service equipment in line with maintenance schedules to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Assist with repairs to sustain site services and maintain production, implementing plant modifications to accommodate changes in processing procedures.
  • Operate and maintain the onsite water plant, undertaking capital work to provide increased capacity, production of new products, and meet environmental requirements.
  • Perform electrical/mechanical breakdowns, new installations, and provide mechanical support, carrying out preventative maintenance and managing scheduling.
  • Adhere to safe systems of working, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills, with a solid understanding of plant operations and maintenance.
