We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Aspectz Ltd, a leading industry player with over 50 years of experience. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct daily inspections of power presses, ensuring all guarding is in place and functioning correctly.
  2. Perform regular maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of consumable spare parts as needed.
  3. Monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and maintain a log of all plant equipment and tooling.
  5. Investigate any plant or tooling issues and implement corrective actions.
  6. Collaborate with external maintenance services as required.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  2. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and urgent tasks.
  3. Understanding of relevant Health and Safety requirements and ability to maintain records.
  4. Metal fabrication/manufacturing experience is desirable.
  5. Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  6. Welding experience, particularly MIG/TIG, is beneficial.
  7. Excellent communication skills are required.
