We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Aspectz Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct daily inspections of power presses, ensuring all guarding is in place and functioning correctly.
  2. Perform regular maintenance tasks on plant and equipment, including lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of consumable parts as needed.
  3. Monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records of plant equipment and tooling.
  5. Investigate any issues with plant or tooling, and implement repairs or modifications as necessary.
  6. Liaise with external maintenance services as required, either by phone or email.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  2. Capacity to work with minimal disruption to surrounding workforce and adhere to relevant compliance standards.
  3. Understanding and competence in relevant Health and Safety requirements, with ability to maintain accurate records.
  4. Metal fabrication/manufacturing experience is desirable.
  5. Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  6. Welding experience, particularly with MIG/TIG, is useful.
  7. Excellent communication skills are required.
  8. Competence in press inspections and abrasive wheels training is ideal, although training can be provided.
