About the Role

Your new company is a leading international Lloyd's Broker with a global presence. They employ over 24,000 people worldwide and provide services in more than 150 countries. As a Senior Operations Technician, you will be part of their Marine Operations team, working closely with colleagues in India to deliver exceptional technical support and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical insurance knowledge to support managers and team members in a technical capacity
  • Process and support end-to-end premium processing, creating timely and accurate accounting transactions using Global XB
  • Attend business unit, client, underwriter, or marker meetings, providing technical input where required
  • Coordinate and report on revenue at business unit level
  • Work within the Accounting and Credit Control Team, with accountability to support clear all Financial Disciplines (bad debt, unallocated cash, uncollected brokerage, held funds, funding, and signings) assigned to them in accordance with internal SLA's or escalated accordingly
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as a Technician (Back-end premium processing) within a Lloyd's Insurance Broker with experience in dealing with the Bureaux
  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and technical support within their respective team, business units, and/or associated clients and markets
  • Strong computer skills and robust communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, a high level of accountability and problem-solving, self-motivation, and ability to work with a degree of autonomy
