About the Company

Hays Accountancy and Finance is a leading recruitment agency specializing in accounting and finance professionals. Our client, a rapidly growing tech-based business, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team.

About the Role

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the business, including cash flow forecasting, transactional processes, and payroll.
  • They will also be responsible for producing and managing management accounts, handling journal postings and inter-company accounts, and preparing financial accounts for audit compliance.
  • The Finance Manager will analyze KPIs, collaborate with the management teams for future forecasting, and lead technical accounting projects.
  • Additionally, they will prepare and manage commercial contracts in collaboration with the COO and oversee the contract management and invoicing.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience of month-end and year-end, with an understanding of audit processes, ideally within a dynamic business environment.
  • They will have good IT skills, including Excel, and experience of Xero would be useful but not essential.
