**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare ophthalmic equipment and instruments for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a safe and sterile environment
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the surgeon or anaesthetist
  • Participate in departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience as a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
  • Valid registration with the NMC or HCPC
  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic scrub procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced theatre environment

**Salary:** £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
