Bank Nursing and Paramedic Professional

As a skilled Registered Nurse or Paramedic, you will be part of a dedicated team providing critical care to individuals in custody. With a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and drive excellence in our services.
We value flexibility and offer a zero-hour contract for bank work, enabling you to choose from a range of shifts, including 12-hour rotations. Your comprehensive clinical assessments and interventions will have a lasting impact on our patients' lives.
Main responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough clinical evaluations to determine suitability for detention, interview, release, or transfer.
- Providing timely healthcare interventions for minor illnesses or injuries, taking appropriate actions and referring complex cases as necessary.
- Performing forensic examinations of individuals in police care, documenting findings, and providing expert opinions when required.
- Assessing police officers/staff injured on duty, documenting incidents, and managing their care accordingly.
- Collecting specimens under legislation as necessary.
- Preparing written statements as required by the organization.
- Attending courts or tribunals after relevant training, providing expert testimony when needed.
- Maintaining accurate and complete clinical records.
- Evaluating alcohol and drug intoxication, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing safeguarding pathways.
- Supporting the clinical governance agenda, ensuring high standards of care throughout the organization.
- Administering medications through PGDs and PTPs, following established protocols.
