We require an Alpine Healthcare Provider to join our team at the Mt Hutt Ski Area Medical Centre. This role involves providing medical treatment to guests and staff on-site.

As an Alpine Healthcare Provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary of $NZD 180,000 per annum.

Key requirements include:

  • 4 years of post-graduate experience in emergency medicine
  • a minimum of 6 months in emergency medicine experience
  • a Core Advanced Certificate issued within the past 3 years
  • comprehensive knowledge of accident and emergency triage
  • previous experience in orthopaedic, sport injuries, and anaesthetic care (valuable but not essential)
  • Medical Practice management skills (an asset)
  • a current annual practicing certificate and medical indemnity insurance
  • knowledge of the New Zealand Health System, particularly ACC
  • comfortable working in an alpine environment in varying weather conditions
