Job Description

We are excited to be working with a leading technology-based client on the recruitment of a Data/Backend engineer with a passion for Data and AI for an initial 7-week project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboard and discover the involved systems.
  • Design a data model in Azure Synapse.
  • Develop a bulk data ingestion ETL pipeline in Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop an incremental data ingestion ETL pipeline in Azure Data Factory.
  • Document the system and processes.
  • Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in developing applications using Python and SQL.
  • Proficiency in developing applications with Azure Data Factory.
  • Knowledge of back-end application server design, data modelling, architecture, and implementation.
  • A solid understanding of fundamental data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience with modern software development practices and technologies, including cloud-native architectures, continuous integration, deployment, and release, as well as automated testing and quality assurance.
