Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct Works Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Direct Works team, you will be responsible for managing our landscape workforce, prioritizing and overseeing workflow, and ensuring excellent communication between teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Direct Works team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality work and excellent customer service.
  • Prioritize and oversee workflow, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure the long-term health and sustainability of our parks and landscapes.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Landscape Officers and Property, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and machinery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in landscape management, forestry, arboriculture, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with fleet management and maintenance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
