About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Line Operative to join our production team at our state-of-the-art factory in Barton-upon-Humber. As an Assembly Line Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of cabinets, adhering to strict quality standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow technical drawings to accurately assemble cabinets, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Install all wire components in fully assembled units, following supplier installation guidelines and quality control procedures.
- Operate the clamp machine efficiently to ensure all cabinets are compacted and ready for dispatch, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and quality checks to ensure all wirework units meet our high-quality standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization within the department, promoting a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding Health, Safety, and proper use of equipment in the workplace, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of units and components, previous warehouse experience is advantageous. You should possess excellent organizational skills, flexibility, commitment, and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
