Job Summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Care Assistant in Operating Theatres to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our theatre support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres and delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

  • Provide personalized care and attention to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and effective care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in theatre care.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a theatre environment or a related field.
  • Relevant qualification, such as an NVQ Level 3 in care or similar, within 18 months of start date.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above, or level 2 numeracy and literacy skills.
