Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Care Specialist to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

About the Role:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained throughout their hospital stay.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans that cater to the diverse needs of our patients.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment by adhering to established infection control practices and policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in theatre care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a theatre environment or a related field.
  • Possession of a relevant qualification, such as an NVQ Level 3 in care or similar, within 18 months of start date.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above, or level 2 numeracy and literacy skills.
