Job Description: We are seeking an experienced policy advisor to join our integrated global Communications & Policy team. As a senior policy advisor, you will lead Deliveroo's thinking on live and contentious public policy issues across 10 markets, shaping regulation to support our riders, merchant partners, consumers, and communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead thinking on how Deliveroo can meet its net zero targets and support consumers in making healthier choices when using our service.
  • Advise the business on legislative and regulatory developments, proactively shaping our response and driving outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company, national, and local levels to ensure our company positions are heard and understood.
  • Support the development and delivery of Deliveroo's comprehensive sustainability strategy.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in policy roles, such as the Civil Service or a think tank.
  • Knowledge of the UK policy-making process, including Westminster or Whitehall.
  • Ability to condense complex policy issues into easy-to-understand material for written and oral communications.
  • Skill in public policy connected to the future of work, e-commerce, digital taxation, and sustainability of public health.
