About the role

The Role

GAP Group Limited is a leading provider of hire equipment solutions. Our Welfare Services division is seeking a skilled Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, with a focus on delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities will include loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment, as well as providing customer service and ensuring all relevant checks and administration are completed accurately.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the service, cleaning, and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Significant experience working within a driving role delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites

• Category B+E or C1+E driving licence and Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed

• Experience in towing and a digital tachograph card

• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace

• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
