Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a key member of our Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing preliminary design solutions and collaborating with clients as part of the design strategy
  • Creating detailed designs, calculations, specifications, and conducting technical reviews
  • Attending design, project progress, and client engagement meetings
  • Designing various construction types, including steelwork, reinforced/precast concrete, masonry, and timber
  • Conducting structural appraisals for commercial, industrial, and residential structures
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in civil and structural engineering
  • A full UK driving license and access to transport
  • Chartered or near-chartered status with a relevant body (MICE or MIStructE)
