Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our team at Strumasters. As a key member of our structures division, you will work closely with our talented team of Chartered, mid-level, and graduate engineers to deliver complex and challenging structural designs from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and detail structural elements using UK and European codes of practice
  • Produce preliminary design solutions and review with clients as part of design strategy
  • Manage projects cost and programme, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve technical queries and issues
  • Supervise CAD/Revit technicians and junior engineers on technical/construction details and undertake QA reviews
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 4 years post-qualification experience in civil and structural engineering
  • Chartered or near-chartered status with a relevant body (MICE or MIStructE)
