Store Manager Designate Position

The British Heart Foundation is seeking a Store Manager Designate to join its retail field team, covering home stores across the Grantham/Leicestershire area (A1 Corridor down to Cambridge).
This role provides cover and support to various stores, allowing the successful candidate to develop a career in retail management and make a life-saving difference.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and achieving targets
- Delivering a high standard of service to customers, aligned with the British Heart Foundation's expectations
- Leading and developing a team of staff and volunteers
- Deputising for Store Managers
- Stock generation and management
- Visual merchandising
- Recruitment and training of staff and volunteers
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous retail experience is essential
- Good commercial awareness
- Experience of leading and developing teams
- Ability to achieve sales targets
- Committed to achieving the highest retail standards at all times
- Results driven but with a recognition of right result, right way
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to build rapport with people
This role requires travel to various sites, and the successful candidate will need a full UK driving licence.
