Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable individuals
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the public, partner agencies, and regulated care providers on safeguarding concerns
  • Carry out home visits and safeguarding assessments to identify and address potential risks
  • Liaise with other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and policies to ensure compliance and best practice
  • Hold cases and work with individuals and families to develop and implement personalized support plans
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings to share knowledge and expertise
  • Complete referrals to relevant agencies for support and resources

Requirements:

  • Post-qualifying experience as a Locality Social Worker or within a safeguarding team
  • HCPC registration
  • 3 years of post-qualifying experience in the UK social care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance (we can assist with obtaining this)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
