Job Summary:
Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Locality Social Worker to join our team in Camden. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable individuals
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the public, partner agencies, and regulated care providers on safeguarding concerns
- Carry out home visits and safeguarding assessments to identify and address potential risks
- Liaise with other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and policies to ensure compliance and best practice
- Hold cases and work with individuals and families to develop and implement personalized support plans
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings to share knowledge and expertise
- Complete referrals to relevant agencies for support and resources
Requirements:
- Post-qualifying experience as a Locality Social Worker or within a safeguarding team
- HCPC registration
- 3 years of post-qualifying experience in the UK social care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance (we can assist with obtaining this)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
