London, Greater London, United Kingdom MeetFrank Full time

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Shift Lead to join our team at MeetFrank, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing on-road experimentation and development during your shift, managing temporary staff from a staffing agency, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced team, where you will have the chance to grow every day, learning on the job, from the brightest minds in our space, and with support for more formal learning opportunities too. You will be part of a culture that is ego-free, respectful and welcoming (of you and your dog) - we even eat lunch together every day.

Job Description
  • Shift Supervision and Team Leadership:
    • Develop and implement effective shift management strategies to optimize team performance and efficiency.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to drivers to improve their skills and knowledge.
    • Collaborate with the staffing agency to address any personnel issues or concerns related to the temporary workforce.
  • Compliance and Personnel Management:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, particularly those relevant to temporary staffing arrangements.
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on shift activities, including incident reports and deviations from standard operating procedures pertaining to temporary staff.
  • Performance Optimization and Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of on-road testing and development.
    • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a team coordinator or similar role, ideally involving supervision of temporary or contingent workers.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with drivers, the staffing agency, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation ($90,000 - $115,000 per year).
  • Opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology company, with access to the latest innovations and advancements in autonomous vehicle technology.
