Job Summary

Vistex Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large complex projects/programs between $2M to $5M in budget or manage multiple complex engagements across multiple Vistex customers.

The primary responsibility of this role is to build client relationships and successfully deliver the assigned projects. The Senior Project Manager will provide thought leadership across all technical and business process aspects for the engagements they manage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple clients/complex projects at any given time.
  • Assist with scoping and estimating project work.
  • Identify appropriate consulting skills required for the projects.
  • Onsite Lead for implementation project(s).
  • Adhere to all documented PMO process and procedures.
  • Lead the effort to define deliverables, templates, and standards for the project.
  • Develop and manage detailed integrated project plan including project milestone and deliverables.
  • Identify, track, and report project performance metrics to the client.
  • Manage project issues/risks, scope, budgets, and client expectations.
  • First point of escalation for project related issues.
  • Establish 'trusted advisor' relationships with key client and implementation partner stakeholders.
  • Monitor budget to actual project expenditures, headcount, and deliverable completion.
  • Manage and maintain project financials.
  • Subject matter expert in SAP methodologies and implementation best practices.
  • Mentoring project managers and delivery managers as needed.
Requirements

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.

Experience

Required:

  • 10 years of SAP experience managing complex and fixed priced projects.
  • Experience in multiple SAP full lifecycle software implementations.
  • Expertise with SAP Waterfall and Agile methodologies and related tools and templates.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Vistex software a plus.
