About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Lighting and Technical Operations. This is a key role within our company, responsible for the management of our lighting department and the technical operations of our events and productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the lighting department, including the supervision of staff and the coordination of lighting equipment and services.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to ensure the successful delivery of events and productions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of lighting and technical operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of lighting equipment and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in lighting and technical operations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
