About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant at beBee Professionals, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with teachers to develop and implement effective support strategies, providing one-on-one or small group support during lessons, and assisting in the implementation of IEPs.

You will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social interaction and participation among students. Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective support strategies for students with SEN.
  • Provide targeted support to students during lessons, helping them to access the curriculum and make progress towards their goals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social interaction and participation among students.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of supporting students with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of students.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are highly desirable.
