We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team in a Secondary Complex Needs School located in Islington, London. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced educator who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Job Overview:

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with complex learning requirements.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to address specific learning goals and objectives for each student.
  2. Employ a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and support staff, to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
  4. Provide regular feedback to parents, carers, and relevant stakeholders on student progress.
  5. Participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of the SEND curriculum.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience working with students with complex needs in a secondary school setting.
  2. Strong understanding of SEND practices and a commitment to inclusive education.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  4. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with various abilities.
