Industry Placements offers a 12-month Mechanical Engineering Development Position, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering. As a member of this programme, you will work on developing and improving the internal combustion engine, electric machines, and battery packs.

About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to map power unit components from a Bill of Materials to kits needed to assemble the engine at any given stage of its build. This requires close collaboration with various divisions across the company, including Automation, Engine Build, Project Management, and Product Design.

You will also be responsible for developing CAD skills in Siemens NX, working with our Faults System, and contributing to the development of tools, processes, and products towards the new Power Unit regulation changes for the start of the 2026 championship season.
