Vacancy for Experienced Motor Vehicle Mechanic at a busy main dealership in Northampton. We seek an experienced and skilled technician to join our team, working with a range of vehicle systems and technologies.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated at £46,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package including company pension and free parking.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced motor vehicle mechanic to work as part of our team. Key responsibilities include utilizing mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicle issues efficiently, using hand tools, power tools and assembly techniques to complete repairs and maintenance tasks, referring to schematics when necessary to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems, providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly, performing heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle components, and utilizing welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this vacancy, applicants must hold a level 3 qualification in motor vehicle mechanics and have experience working within a main dealership or independent workshop environment. An MOT license is preferred but not essential for this position.
