About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our client's close-knit team in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, training and supporting application engineers, and liaising between the R&D team and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provision of technical support to customers with issues on site
  • Training and support of application engineers on software and systems
  • Liaise between R&D team & customers
  • Creating technical documentation, specifications
  • Liaise with customers to create technical solutions
  • Liaise with internal departments for the full product life cycle
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
  • HMI knowledge, programming and configuration knowledge
  • Experience with Servo or stepper drives and motors
  • Experience using PLC or motion control systems
  • Programming language knowledge - C, BASIC, Python
