Risk Management Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our Optronics and Missile Electronics (OME) UK team in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide full representation and accountability for Risk Management for OME in the UK from a Bid and Project Management perspective.
  • Develop and shape the risk management team within the Project/Bid Management function.
  • Manage the pre and post contingency values in the risk toolset through coordination with finance and project control change processes.
  • Coordinate the compilation of R&O management reports for both internal and external reporting and reviews.
  • Perform and coordinate both schedule and cost risk analysis (SRA and CRA) quarterly and on demand for significant changes.
  • Prepare project risk and opportunity reports to support formal programme reviews.
  • Manage Overall Risk Exposure – producing relevant outputs to support decision making and Senior Management/Customer briefings.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a standalone Risk Management role, providing an effective Risk Management service in a complex multiple project delivery environment.
  • Experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the full business lifecycle management, including capture, qualification, and developing capture plans and winning strategies.
  • Experience of client and stakeholder management in a complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-site project management context.
