Deputy Head Teacher Opportunity

Highfield School is a specialist secondary school catering to students with severe learning difficulties. Our student body presents a diverse range of needs, including speech, language, and communication challenges, autistic spectrum conditions, complex learning needs, physical disabilities, and rare genetic disorders.

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational Deputy Head Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership and management skills, a passion for learning, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Effective whole school leadership and management
  • Ambition, enthusiasm, resilience, and a desire to make a difference
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a sound understanding of the demands and responsibilities of a Deputy Headteacher
  • The ability to lead and motivate others
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
