Family Liaison Officer/Deputy DSL

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Liaison Officer/Deputy DSL to join our team at Meadowcroft - The Lodge School. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in engaging with vulnerable families to provide support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Under the guidance of the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team, develop and implement strategies to support vulnerable families.
- Act as a point of contact for families in need of support, providing guidance and signposting to external agencies as necessary.
- Liaise professionally with external agencies, including Housing, NSPCC, Sure Start, Social Care, and Early Intervention Teams.
- Complete referral forms and attend multi-agency meetings as required.
- Build effective relationships with families, providing opportunities for engagement and support.
- Act as Deputy Designated Lead for the school, ensuring all training is current and valid.
Meadowcroft is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 5-19, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs. Our dedicated team works together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
