Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in providing support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional help due to their special needs. Your primary role will be to provide individualized support, guidance, and assistance to these students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualized support and guidance to students with SEN, tailored to their specific needs and abilities.
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN.
  • To contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic well-being.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of [£22,000] per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with children or adults with SEN, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
