About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive Team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This role is critical to our continued success and will play a key part in shaping the financial strategies that underpin our services, ensuring they are sustainable, innovative, and aligned with our commitment to delivering the highest quality of care.
The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities within health and social care, as well as share our passion for putting patients and staff at the heart of every decision. We need a leader who can inspire others to drive forward our mission.
In this role, you will be expected to challenge us to think differently, to seek better value, and to uphold the highest standards of financial stewardship. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of collective ownership of our financial plans, while also enhancing our valued partnerships across our integrated health and care systems.
Main Responsibilities
The Chief Financial Officer will lead and advise the board and executive team on all aspects of financial strategy and financial management, including performance against financial targets, the management and investment of cash, and the assessment of financial risk.
The CFO will lead on the establishment and delivery of the Trust's financial strategy, ensuring alignment to the Trust's Vision, Values, and Strategic Direction.
The Chief Financial Officer will have executive lead for Facilities and Estates and will work closely with the Director of Facilities and Estates to ensure that the Trust's estate portfolio is managed safely, cost-effectively, and within statutory requirements.
