About This Role

This Medical Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to join our Estates Decontamination team, providing engineering services to ensure the safe delivery of patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and installation services to meet the needs of NHS Scotland's healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute maintenance, repairs, and installations to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Estates Decontamination equipment and plant.
  • Contribute to the development of the Estates function into a customer-focused range of services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt a flexible, integrated working approach to service delivery.
  • Assist in managing and controlling Health Associated Infections within the built environment, ensuring compliance with national standards and audits.
