About the Role

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join its Children and Young People's Therapy Team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience and relevant paediatric expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing and developing treatment plans for children with complex presentations.
  • Prescribing specialist equipment and providing advice on adaptive technologies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to clinical audit/service improvement initiatives.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning skills, knowledge of clinical governance principles, and excellent communication skills. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence of post-graduate training in paediatrics are also essential.
