Job Title: Court of Protection Solicitor

Chadwick Nott is seeking a junior-mid level Court of Protection lawyer to join their busy and friendly Elderly Care team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a caseload that includes:

  • Assisting elderly clients to manage their property and affairs where a deputy order is in place.
  • Dealing with Court panel referrals, personal injury compensation trusts, and professional attorneyships.
  • Drafting applications to the Court of Protection.
  • Assisting with the purchase and adaptation of properties.
  • Bank account and budgeting reviews.
  • Liaising with the Court and the Office of the Public Guardian.
  • Preparation of annual reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Court of Protection and its procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
