About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Court of Protection Solicitor to join our busy and friendly Elderly Care team at Chadwick Nott. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting elderly clients to manage their property and affairs where a deputy order is in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist elderly clients with managing their property and affairs under a deputy order.
  • Deal with Court panel referrals, personal injury compensation trusts, and professional attorneyships.
  • Draft applications to the Court of Protection.
  • Assist with the purchase and adaptation of properties.
  • Conduct bank account and budgeting reviews.
  • Liaise with the Court and the Office of the Public Guardian.
  • Prepare annual reports.
Requirements

We are looking for a junior to mid-level Court of Protection Solicitor with a strong understanding of the Court of Protection and its procedures. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
