Technical Program Manager

Mo-Sys Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing a diverse portfolio of technical projects that drive the strategic vision of the company.

Reporting directly to our visionary CEO, and working closely with the Technical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and delivery of complex technical initiatives, ensuring they align with our business objectives and timelines.

We are a fast-paced, dynamic environment that thrives on innovation and creativity. As a Technical Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to push boundaries within existing technology as well as develop new technology to achieve the best all-round solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple technical projects, from concept to deployment, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency and performance in future projects.
  • Strategically manage and allocate resources, balancing the needs of multiple projects with team capabilities, and adjusting as necessary to meet changing project demands.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes by embracing uncertainty and challenging conventional approaches.
  • Be the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout all phases of the project.
  • Develop a high-performing Agile team of engineers across disciplines, including Electronics, Mechanical Design, Software Development, Machine Learning, and Embedded Systems.
  • Evaluate team capacity, identify skill gaps, and regularly review performance to implement tailored individual development plans.
  • Ensure effective communication, for example with Beta Testers, early adopters, and support, delivering clear updates and gathering critical feedback throughout the implementation of prototypes.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of relevant technologies and industry trends, with the ability to lead effectively in a highly technical environment.
  • Proven experience in managing complex, multi-faceted technical projects from initial planning through to final delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, driving project success through strategic influence and hands-on leadership.
  • Exceptional ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across all levels.
  • Capable of aligning project outcomes with broader organisational goals, anticipating challenges, and making informed decisions to steer projects to success.
What We Offer:
  • Salaries are dependent on experience and open to negotiation.
  • Casual office environment, no need to wear a suit unless you want to.
  • Subsidised office lunches that promote healthy eating and encourage you to try something new.
  • While we request some flexibility from you, we're also open to flexible work hours to accommodate a win-win situation for all.
  • We have a continuous development budget to put towards courses, training and conferences.
  • Private health insurance with AXA Health that covers many physical and mental health costs, including dental and vision cash back.
  • Gym membership discounts.
  • Group life insurance and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Cycle to Work scheme – we'll buy a bike up-front, and you can pay it off over the next 12 months via a salary sacrifice scheme.
  • 33 days base holiday (25 days + 8 bank holidays) including company closure between Christmas and NY.
Interview Process:

Interviews at Mo-Sys Engineering Ltd are quite informal and conversational, generally carried out over a three-stage process. The final stage usually involves meeting with senior members of the leadership team at our office in North Greenwich, London.

To gain insight into your workplace behaviours and preferences, we will invite you to complete a brief Predictive Index (PI) Behavioural and Cognitive Assessment (online) as part of this interview process. Discussing these results with Jurga, our Chief of Staff will help us to learn more about you as a person, and it will help you to determine whether Mo-Sys Engineering Ltd is the right fit for you – it's a win-win
