Support Companion for People with Dementia

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Support Companion for people living with dementia.
As a Support Companion, you will be paired with a person living with dementia and accompany them to their favourite activities or events. This could be anything from visiting a local museum to going for a walk in the park.
You will need to commit to an hour of time per week for a minimum of six months. This is a flexible and rewarding role that will allow you to make a real difference in the life of someone living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany a person living with dementia to their favourite activities or events
- Build a relationship with the person and their family
- Support the person to maintain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy
